The säckpipa is available in two pitches: D/G or E/A

The instrument has half-closed fingering and a nine-note range.

The drone is tuned in E. It is standard tunable to D so that both E/A and D/G chanters can be used on the same instrument.

My säckpipor are equipped with plastic reeds for easy handling.
The wood used is plum with mounts made of hornbeam.
Includes a chanter adapter which protects the reed during chanter change so that both E/A and D/G chanters can be used on the same instrument.

You can get the säckpipor in two models. The “Basic” model is a classical one droned instrument, the “Pro” version is an instrument with two drones. Also there are some additional features for the “Pro” version available, such as drone switches and tuning mechanisms for the drones
